Rich in history
A tradition of excellence
Perrone Leather has a long and storied history in the leather industry, with a tradition of excellence that spans more than a century. Founded in Gloversville, New York, a hub of the American leather-making industry in the 1900s, Perrone Leather has always been dedicated to crafting high-quality leather products.
In the 1980s, Perrone Leather expanded its operations to include the creation and manufacturing of crew jackets for commercial airline pilots. Around this time, commercial airlines also began the process of converting from fabric to all-leather seat covers for their First-Class cabins. Perrone Leather was well-positioned to meet this growing demand and became a trusted supplier for many commercial and general aviation interests worldwide.
After three generations of leather crafting and a full century of history, Perrone Leather joined forces with the Avery family to form Perrone Aerospace, a diverse organization that supplies seating and interior leather and textiles, as well as skilled repair and cleaning services, to a large percentage of commercial and transportation clients around the globe.
In 2023, Perrone Leathers & Textiles was acquired by ADHETEC and is now part of a comprehensive and holistic approach to transportation interior solutions. This united front will drive innovation, maximize synergies, and create a new industry standard for sustainability, customization and performance.
